In the fourth quarter of 2024, the personal finance app market in Romania saw notable activity across several key players on the iOS platform. According to Sensor Tower data, the performance trends of the top five apps revealed interesting patterns in weekly downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.

Wallet - Daily Budget & Profit from BudgetBakers s.r.o. experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at around $93 in mid-December. Downloads showed a significant increase towards the end of December, reaching 235, while active users decreased slightly from 1.8K to 1.5K over the quarter.

Spendee Budget App & Planner by Cleevio s.r.o. also saw varied revenue, reaching $83 at the end of October and stabilizing around $77 by the end of December. Downloads surged to 189 in the final week, with active users growing from 1.1K to 1.3K.

Splitwise maintained consistent revenue, with peaks in early November at $80. Downloads climbed to 331 by the end of December, and active users showed a recovery from 1.7K to 2.7K towards the quarter's close.

YNAB had a steady revenue trend, peaking at $76 in early December. Downloads reached 148 in late December, while active users increased from 122 to 206 throughout the quarter.

Monefy: Money Tracker observed a decline in revenue from $51 to $29 by the quarter's end. Downloads grew to 106 in the final week, with active users slightly declining from 460 to 427.
